Oh yeah, so according to my younger brother I am full of valid but useless information. I think it is all interesting but he doesn't seem to see the relevance. So today I was explaining where Bluetooth technology got it's name. When all of the different companies of the info-tech world were developing this short range, low power, RF connectivity there was a meeting in Sweden among all of the R&D guys. It came down to the guys at Intel to give the multi-company project a codename. The head decided to borrow the name of the 10th Century, second King of Denmark, King Harold Bluetooth. He was famous for uniting Scandinavia during that time and it fit since thtechnology was going to unite the PC and Cellular telecom worlds.
That is the short story. I also have been accused of over-explaining theory's by the same said brother. So there you go, a little party information for the next stand-around and look at everyone type of party.
(And by the way, it was also reminded that I did receive 3 points higher than Aunt-Knows-more-than-most on one of those internet I.Q. tests)
And we lost our softball game last weekend. Puts us 1-3-0 for the season.
